The “Engage Model” demands definition, as it is very different from today’s typical industry practice.
Engage’s model places the control of projects back in the hands of the Owner’s Group; deviating from the EPC/EPCM model where the Owner is a passive observer. Engage has “Four Pillars of Success”: Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule.
By means of a pro-active, integrated (with both the Owner’s group as well as contractors indirects) management style, Engage focuses on safety, quality, cost and schedule metrics to be met from Owners side while stewarding daily site operations and managing contractors indirects as well as Direct Field Labour with a pro-active approach. This allows Engage to make any required changes to Direct Field Labour allocation and order of execution as is best suited for the project’ successful conclusion.
Throughout our (Engage) combined experience, we had experienced too many projects being mismanaged, resulting in cost overruns and schedule delays. Engage’s approach to projects stems from “what gets measured, gets attention”, where key items are continuously measured and consequently properly managed. Engage firmly believes in employing only the best in the industry (primarily focusing on those that have both Trades and Executive Leadership experience). Engage is involved from project constructability analysis through to completion / start-up.
By executing projects with these “Four Pillars”, in conjunction with Engage’s “Agent” model (providing Owners with full Construction Management Team services at zero mark up on Direct Field Labour suppliers), Engage has created a baseline of core clients and bench strength that is leading the industry in effective project completions ahead of schedule and under budget; putting the projects back in the hands of the “Owners Group”.
